1,000,000 users

The journey so far and the road ahead.

Last year, we celebrated going from 0 to 100,000 users.

Now, we just crossed 1,000,000 users on Resend.

Here's a quick recap and what's next.

The journey so far

In 2025, we went from:

  • 249k โ†’ 1M users
  • 5x'd revenue

The road ahead

Resend is sending tens of millions of emails every single day, and this is just the beginning.

Our vision is for Resend to become the all-in-one email platform.

This is how we're seeing the path to the next million users.

1. Stellar developer experience

Amazing developer experience cannot be achieved in a vacuum.

It requires a constant feedback loop from users and a willingness to iterate and improve. It's not just about flagship features, it's about the smallest details.

This year was all about listening to you, and that's how we shipped our most requested feature: Inbound Emails. We also focused on improving core features, pushing thousands of minor bug fixes and major improvements.

In 2025, we shipped Templates, introduced pay-as-you-go pricing, improved the experience of using webhooks, added support for idempotency keys, and much more.

In 2026, our vision is to become the all-in-one email platform.

Next year, there will be no need to use multiple email services: just Resend. We'll introduce automation features, continue to work on "invisible AI" features, and make sure the product is ready for the next era of email.

2. Powered by community

Resend started with an open source project in 2022.

We were frustrated by how difficult it was to build modern email templates that worked well across all email clients. As we started to dig deeper, it became clear that this was just the tip of the iceberg, and that's when we built Resend.

The community was at the start of our journey, and it's more important than ever.

In 2025, we released React Email 5.0 and traveled to 9 conferences around the world.

In 2026, we want to spend even more time with you, our users.

This includes contributing even more to open source, hosting our own meetups, and launching a brand new community program.

Open Source

Resend is built on open source technologies, and this is how we contribute back to the community.

3. Exceptional support as a differentiator

The way we approach support is one of the things that sets Resend apart.

  • 82,416 users helped all over the world
  • 2h 45m median first response time for all tickets
  • 90% of urgent requests receive a first response under 47min

In 2025, we expanded our support SLA to include European timezones.

In 2026, we'll expand it to include Asia-Pacific timezones.

Clear documentation and AI support will always be a priority, so users can get answers and unblock themselves fast. However, when you need to speak with a human, we'll be there for you.

4. Faster and more reliable

Resend now processes terabytes of data every week. As our users continue to grow, fast data processing, analysis, and storage have become crucial.

The Briefer team has mastered the challenge of handling massive volumes of data at scale. After acquiring Briefer, we're making Resend faster and ready for the next billion emails together.

In 2025, we invested heavily in improving performance.

In 2026, we'll continue to decrease both the latency and the response times of the Resend API, starting with the Batch Emails endpoint.

5. BX, not just DX

When we started Resend, we didn't have a sales team.

One of our key insights was to focus on Developer Experience (DX) as a way to differentiate from others and find product-market fit.

As our customers grew and started using the product for more use cases, we realized that Buyer Experience (BX) was just as important.

In 2025, we got certified by the Data Privacy Framework and renewed our SOC 2 report for the second year with zero findings.

In 2026, we'll invest more in making the entire buyer experience better.

This includes hiring our first dedicated sales hires, adding enterprise-ready features, and expanding our InfoSec program.

Conclusion

I can't put into words how excited we are for the future.

We know this is a cliche, but it's true: we're just getting started.

But to keep growing, we need help.

Come build with us.

We're hiring.
